Whew, sashes.

The girls in their sashes.
Whew!  Got the sashes done just in time.  I cut ten out sewed nine but only ended up with eight.  I don't know what little elves were working in my sewing room but every time I counted I lost one. (-;

My DD in her vest.
So, I took the eight with us as we headed to the Pinewood Derby.  The girls were so so so excited.  I was only two short, and my daughter took the vest (which she wanted) that I had made up as an  example for the girls to vote.

Sweet girls

DONE!

They whipped up pretty quick, and my kids were well behaved and on their own the first half of the day.  Even my 4 y/o sat and played cars and puzzles to let me sew at high speed.   Now, I am looking forward on sewing on all those patches the girls will earn.  They are such a great group of girls and the adult that volunteer their time to work with them.

Sorry, did not take the time to edit the photos, just too excited to get them done and posted.
